I'm using HP pavillion gaming laptop. When the charger connected to the charging port, the orange light keep blinking. And also charging icon also keep ON and OFF. Thus, my battery never charge up even though it's connected to power supply.

Hi @sha96,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

Since when are you facing this issue/ Was there any power outage?

Have you happened to try with another device or a different charger to see if it's an issue with the battery or charger?

May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Meanwhile, follow the steps mentioned below and see how it goes.

POWER DRAIN:

Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.

CBR:

Press windows key and then followed the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.

Also, try the steps from this document and calibrate the battery to isolate the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
