OMEN by HP 15-dc1085nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I got this laptop thinking that all OMEN 15 support thunderbolt turns out I was wrong, and they all do not support thunderbolt. I was wondering if there is any way that I can get this laptop to run an eGPU without the need for a thunderbolt connection? If there is not I got myself a laptop I won't be able to use how I fully intended 😞

External ports
1 HDMI; 1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 microphone-in; 1 Mini DisplayPort™; 1 RJ-45; 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (HP Sleep and Charge); 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only); 1 AC smart pin; 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (5 Gb/s signaling rate, DisplayPort™ 1.2, Power Delivery 3.0, HP Sleep and Charge)

@Musalot

My machine (15-dc0071tx)  DOES haveThunderbolt™ 3 port as shown

Without Thunderbolt™ 3 port, no other port on your machine is fast enough to give a video card better than existing GTX 1050 on your machine. Mine has GTX 1070.

Regards.
