My 2018 15.6" Omen laptop has two fans. When they're both running fan 1 is normally at 3,000rpm+ and fan 2 at 200-300rpm.
while gaming my gpu reaches 97 degrees, cpu 92-93. is that normal? i've already updated the bios and checked other post but i couldn't find any answer.
thanks

Fans are controlled by sensors and there are few heat sensors on machine. Depending which area gets hot, its sensor will ask fan to spin/rotate more.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

i think your reply is a bit obvious, my laptop reaches 97 degrees (ninetyseven) i know the fans are controlled by sensor but i think is not normal that one fan is turning at 3000+ while the other is only at 300 rpm, do you think it's normal having the second fan at 300rpm and a 97 cpu-92gpu degrees? i don't think so. my gaming laptop is constantly thermothrottling so my fps are often under 30. i think that's not normal for a 1500$ laptop
