Hi @Eftymios,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your recent firmware update to version F.26 has caused some of your keyboard keys to malfunction, updating to a newer version such as F.35 could potentially resolve the issue. Firmware updates often include bug fixes and improvements that may address hardware function anomalies.

Before proceeding, here are some steps you should consider:

Check for Known Issues:

  • Sometimes firmware updates are accompanied by notes about known issues or fixes. Review these to see if they address your keyboard issues.

Read the Update Notes:

  •  Ensure that version F.35 notes indicate any changes relevant to your keyboard's issue.

Backup Current Firmware:

  • If possible, backup your current working firmware. This will provide a fallback option if the new update does not resolve your issue.

Installation Precautions:

  • Ensure your laptop is connected to a reliable power source.
  • Avoid interrupting the update process as it might cause further issues.

Test your Keyboard:

  • After the update, test your keyboard thoroughly to ensure the problem is resolved.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
