Product: HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0026nv
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own this particular hp pavilion laptop (HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0026nv) for a year now and i still can not figure out how to turn on the keybord back ight , as advertised .  I would apriciate it if someone with with knowledge on this matter helped me out .

I don't think it has backlit keyboard. It ONLY has Full-size island-style keyboard with numeric keypad.

 

But please check all keys on the top few rows. Does it have a key with backlit icon/symbol ?

(a) If yes, please use that key

(b) If no, your machine does not have backlit keyboard as mentioned above.

The f5 key is blank and I can't turn it on although it was advertised to me with a lightning keyboard .
