Hi I managed to change the hdd to a ssd for the second drive in my omen [ nearly spoiled me trousers taking the back off it] and before I did I cloned the hdd and all seemed well. The computer recognised the new ssd and all my info was on it but it came up as e:data and not d:data so all the shortcuts do not work. Can I rename the drive d: instead of e: so all the shortcuts etc point to where they should. Thanks Neil

@Gruntfuttock02 Your specs show it came with only one drive (HDD) so I assume you must have installed an M.2 drive later for the OS?
If the HDD was a secondary data drive at this point and you installed a cloned SSD in its place, you should be able to change the drive letter in Disk Management with no problem. Changing the drive letter only will not wipe the data and should change the path, as long as no other drive is currently installed with the same letter.
