hello i am using a headset microphone but it recieve nothing it worked well before i am sure that headset is working well i tried it on another laptop for another manufacturer it worked well
i downloaded latest driver available on hp for my device i also checked my windows update in settings
also i installed a new windows recently but it's the same problem
when i plug my headset jack i recieve no notifications

Based on the information and your description, here's a comprehensive troubleshooting guide to resolve the headset microphone issue on your Victus by HP 15-fa1000 laptop running Windows 11:

Confirm Physical Connection

  • Ensure the headset is plugged into the 3.5 mm combo audio jack (usually marked with a headset icon).
  • Try gently reinserting the plug to ensure a proper connection.

Check Input Device in Sound Settings

  • Go to Settings > System > Sound.
  • Under Input, make sure Headset Microphone is selected.
  • Click Device Properties and ensure the volume is turned up and not muted.

Enable Microphone Access

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
  • Ensure Microphone access is turned ON for both system and apps.

Verify in Control Panel

  • Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording tab.
  • Right-click in the blank area and enable Show Disabled Devices.

Sorry max but how i download this version of realtek audio driver it's not available for me which is available is 6.0.9712.1.Rev.f

The only available version on HP support page for your Victus by HP 15-fa1000 is Realtek Audio Driver 6.0.9712.1 Rev.F, the 6.0.9372.1 version is an older one.

Here’s what you can do next:

Use HP's Official Driver (6.0.9712.1 Rev.F)

Even though it's a newer version, it should still support your headset mic. Please ensure:

  • You fully uninstall the previous Realtek driver before installing this one:
    • Go to Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers.
    • Right-click Realtek(R) Audio > Uninstall device (check “Delete the driver software for this device”).
    • Restart your PC.
  • Then install the driver from HP:
    • Download Realtek Audio Driver 6.0.9712.1 Rev.F

Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UWP App

This app can test your microphone hardware:

Try Windows Default Driver (Optional)

If Realtek still doesn’t detect the mic:

  • Go to Device Manager > Realtek(R) Audio > Update Driver > Browse my computer > Let me pick.
  • Choose High Definition Audio Device (Microsoft’s generic driver).
  • Restart and test the mic.

Check Combo Jack Detection

Sometimes combo jacks fail to detect TRRS headsets properly. Try:

  • A different headset with mic.
  • A USB sound card or 3.5mm to USB adapter as a workaround.
