hi, i have a horizontal line on my monitor laptop, and im not sure its a dead pixel or stuck pixel, when i watch a video the pixels still changes but not following the video(as if its live following another line of pixels). i tried updating monitor driver and gpu and its still isnt fixed, changing my refresh rate to 60hz only minimize the flashes, and fixing corrupted files/remove malware still doesn't work. so is this a software or hardware problems, if its a software can anyone recommend solutions, thank you. sorry if my description of my problem are bad.

I see that you are facing screen related issues on your omen system. Do not worry we are here to help you fix the issue.

 

May I know if you have made any recent hardware or software changes to your system?

May I know if from when are you facing this issue

May I know if the horizontal line is present in the BIOS as well?

 

Please boot your system into the BIOS using the F12 key and let me know if the line is visible in the BIOS as well. 

 

Also, please update all the drivers on your system and check if that makes any difference.

i haven't made any changes to my hardware and software

 

May I know if from when are you facing this issue

i had this issue about a week ago

 

May I know if the horizontal line is present in the BIOS as well?

yes the line is still present on the bios

 

i did update all of my drivers and its still present
