I have noticed from last BIOS update(maybe), i'm not able to run the cpu on Max Turbo Boost CPU Speed i.e. 4.1 GHz even when i'm doing manual cinebench test for single core cpu, and cpu usually works @3.91 GHz and below(charger plugged-in) .
can anyone tell how can it be fixed in detailed manner and what's causing this issue?
Current BIOS ver : F.09 Rev A(latest)
CPU TDP : 45 watt (default)
Thanks,

My feeling: new BIOS now has a break to slow down because HP Omen machines are running hot and giving top CPU speed won't help.
We did a test few years back, when cranking CPU's up to their top limit on a big machine, the air came out very hot and the force like a jet engine after 2 minutes.
All vendors including HP don't want their machine break due to heat specially during warranty period.
I could be wrong but hope this makes sense.
Regards.

Thanks for your response sir, but i have one question will any bios update will be pushed to enable intel turbo boost technology to run cpu @4.1GHz ? and what about fan speed control still not have any option in omen command center to manually run the fan at full speed, that is also a major reason for cpu getting hot as fans starts at full only after temp reaches 85 degree centigrade, why not run the fan at full speed if i want to?
please reply sir, and everyone else who are facing or noticed this issue...
Thanks,
Manoj
