The laptop is stuck in low power mode... I have tried 4 different chargers to remedy the issue, but all of them got the same result... Is this some sort of hardware locking issue??? If so, i would really like some help regarding obtaining genuine HP parts... I have visited and tried the original HP products of 3 different "HP World" stores... but still each and every time the charger was incompatible... I checked all the input and output values (voltage, amps, etc.), and they matched perfectly...
So please either provide any workaround to this issue, or a genuine 200W adapter for HP Victus (i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz.... 16.0 GB RAM.... 6GB RTX 3060)
I have tried the bios update method, extreme cooling of the charger method, set all windows option to max performance, but nothing has shown any results... Even the "performance mode" option in the "HP Omen Gaming Hub" app is gone... so i cant even try and toggle the power levels...

Hi @XYKE,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you’re dealing with a frustrating issue where your HP Victus laptop is stuck in low power mode despite trying various solutions. Given the symptoms and troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken, the problem could be related to hardware compatibility or power management settings. Here’s a detailed guide to address the issue and options for obtaining genuine HP parts:
**1. Confirm Charger Compatibility
Even though you’ve tried multiple chargers that match the voltage and current ratings, here are a few additional checks:
- Charger Model Number: Ensure that the chargers are specifically designed for your HP Victus model. Sometimes, even if the specifications match, chargers from different models or generations may not be fully compatible.
- Original HP Charger: Verify that the chargers are genuine HP products. Counterfeit or third-party chargers may not work correctly with certain laptop models.
**2. Check Charger and Battery Connection
- Inspect Charging Port: Look for any debris or damage in the charging port that might affect the connection.
- Check Battery Connection: If you’re comfortable, open the laptop and ensure that the battery is properly connected.
**3. Update BIOS and Drivers
- BIOS Update:
- Go to the HP Support Website.
- Enter your laptop model and download the latest BIOS update.
- Follow the instructions to update the BIOS.
- Update Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager.
- Update drivers for components like the battery and power management.
**4. Perform a Power Reset
- Reset Power Settings:
- Shut down the laptop and unplug it.Remove the battery (if removable).
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then power on the laptop.
**5. Check Windows Power Settings
- Set to Maximum Performance:
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options.Select High Performance mode or create a custom power plan with maximum performance settings.
**6. Use HP Support Assistant
- Run Diagnostics:
- Open HP Support Assistant.Go to the Diagnostics section and run tests related to power and battery.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
