Hi @asif_gaya,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop keyboard is overheating, the most common causes are dust buildup obstructing airflow, a faulty fan, or a problem with the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU

1. Clean the Vents and Fans:

Dust Accumulation:

Dust buildup can block airflow, forcing the fans to work harder and overheat the laptop.

How to Clean:

  • Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power cord.
  • Locate the vents (usually on the sides, bottom, or back).
  • Use compressed air to blow out dust from the vents and fans.
  • Wait 5-10 minutes for the laptop to cool down, then reconnect the power cord and turn it on.

2. Check for Fan Issues:

Faulty Fan:

An old or malfunctioning fan might not be able to effectively cool the laptop.

How to Check:

  • Listen for unusual fan noises or if the fan isn't running at all.
  • If you suspect a fan issue, you may need to take the laptop apart and replace the fan.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
