hp pavillion gaming laptop 15-cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm an IT student and i bought this laptop to follow my college's laptop requirements. It had to be beefy.

I'm really careful with my laptop. Carry it around in a case, monitor updates all the time, clean dust with compressed air, keep my drives clean.

But since almost a year i am experiencing lagspikes, they could be happening during regular use like internetbrowsing or writing code but they become most apparent trough gaming. And not heavy games in particular. Any game i fire up, i get to play for 20-30 minutes and after that my frames drop to 4-6 for at least 30 seconds to a minute. Then back to normal.

I already looked around on the forum and saw someone else having the same problem with the same laptop.

I'm already running hp support assistant, have the latest drivers, Nvidea too.

Am i missing something?

Kind regards!
