Hi,
I'd like to ask you guys about my laptops charger, I'm not sure that which wattage should I use. I have a Hp Pavilion gaming 15 cx0xxx laptop with i58300h and Nvidia 1050 TI, and at the moment I have a 120 wattage charger, and sometimes
I experience after 1 hour gaming ( Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Hellblade). I recently cleaned put a new termal paste, so the dust is not a problem for sure. I read it somewhere that I should use 150 watt charger. Can you help to solve this issue? Have a nice day!

Well, from the list, you have to use at least
150 W (8750H/8300H processors and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Radeon RX 560 graphics) part # 917649-850
You can use 200W.
Regards.

The series has 4 options for batteries depending on the video card
- 200 W (8750H/8300H processors and GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q graphics) part # L00818-850
- 150 W (8750H/8300H processors and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Radeon RX 560 graphics) part # 917649-850
- 135 W (8750H/8300H processors and GeForce GTX 1050 graphics) part # L15534-001
- 120 W(8550U/8250U processors and GeForce GTX 1050 graphics) part # 710415-001
What is your machine ? To be safe you can use 150W charger or at least 135W charger.
Regards

Mine is with i58300H and 1050 Ti, as I just wrote that before. I'm still using the 120 watt charger, but I'm still not satisfied with the performance. When they recommended me the charger they sad that this is the one that I should use because they made a calculation from two numbers ( one of these values I think is the amper) and according the result I need this charger. So might I'm just gonna go to the shop today and purchase a 150 watt charger see it if it changes on the performance, and I'll let you know then! Also I'm thinking about my recent bios update that I did manually through the Hp's website without external drive. Is that possible that installation messed up my system?
