Hi @Nitin_99,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the audio on your Victus gaming laptop after a Windows 11 update. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem.

Check Volume Mixer:

  • Right-click on the speaker icon in the Windows taskbar and select "Open Volume Mixer."
  • Make sure that the volume for all applications and the system sounds is turned up to the maximum.

Update Audio Drivers:

  • Outdated or incompatible audio drivers can cause sound issues. Visit the HP support website and download the latest audio drivers for your laptop model.

Restart Your Laptop:

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve audio problems caused by software glitches.

Disable Audio Enhancements:

  • Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select "Sound settings."
  • Scroll down to the "Advanced sound options" section and click on "App volume and device preferences."
  • Make sure that any audio enhancements are turned off.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Sometimes, Windows updates can include audio driver updates or fixes. Ensure your Windows 11 is up to date.

Audio Troubleshooter:

  • Open the Windows Settings app.
  • Go to "System" and then "Sound."
  • Under "Advanced sound options," click on "Troubleshoot."

System Restore:

  • If the issue started after the update, you can try using the Windows System Restore feature to revert your system to a state before the update.

Check for Third-Party Software Conflicts:

  • Occasionally, third-party software can interfere with system audio. Try disabling or uninstalling any recently installed software that might affect sound settings.

Check Hardware Connections:

  • Ensure that your external speakers or headphones (if any) are properly connected.
  • If you're using Bluetooth speakers, make sure they are paired correctly.

Factory Reset (Last Resort):

  • If none of the above solutions work, you may consider doing a factory reset of your laptop. This will return your system to its original state. Make sure to back up your data before doing this.

Remember to perform these steps in order, and test your audio after each one to see if the issue has been resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
