Hey, I am moving from UK to Canada with a UK Omen laptop and wondering if I need to get a new power cable as I don't want to get there and use an adapter to 3 pin to 2 pin. Anyone know if it will decrease in performance or compatible or should I buy a 2 pin cable for my battery ??

You only need a cord from the wall to the PSU (charger). Many shops in Canada sell those cords. I bought one from a shop in Vancouver  (I can't remember its name). I think normally in the UK, they sell another way around cords for people from other countries come to the UK.
