i spilt a drink on my laptop. the moment the drink touched it the laptop became unresponsive i tried turning it off and it started flashing black and white. then the device switched off and after the device turned off i took off the back panel and dried the device. i then tried testing the device with the charger but no battery still no response. Charging indicator isnt working the device wont turn on but when i close the laptop a power indicator becomes dimly lit and the device heats up near the charging port. i need help diagnosing the broken parts so i can replace them

Hi @loLsKi77
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I am sorry for the issue with your laptop.
Liquid damage can cause significant issues in laptops, and diagnosing the affected components requires careful inspection.
Disconnect Power:
- Ensure the laptop is completely disconnected from the charger and battery to prevent further damage.
Avoid Turning On:
- Do not attempt to power on the laptop until the damaged components are repaired or replaced, as this could cause further damage.
