omen command center not getting the light option

hi,

I just bought the omen 15 dc0850nd this morning , and when I co in the omen command center I don't get the option for lighting. so that I can change the color.

There are a lot of people who get HP's model system misunderstood, I can absolutely understand why because everyone sees the pictures out there about the Omen DC series having RGB. But there are some model versions targeted at a lower price point that don't have the RGB keyboards.

You model is one of them. Its specs show it has the Full-size 2-zone lighting backlit keyboard. You need one that has the 4-zone keyboard. 4 Zone will have 4 different zones that can be lit differently. 2 zone only had all red lighting with WASD being highlighted in yellow.

There is no way to change that. If you seek the RGB lighting, you will have to return it and get a different version.
