Product: gen8 microserver
I am trying to help a friend. He purchased a used proliant micro server. It does not turn on. I have checked voltages and only find 5v and 3v on the board. The led's on the board stay lit and then flash. No video,no fan nothing. I have a chip programmer but when I downloaded the only bin file on the HP site, the programmer says the bin file is too large for the chip. Where can I find the bin file for the chip ( that will at least rule the bios out) to directly program the bios chip. I need to get it running and then I can update with the flash drive as they recommend.
Happy New Year.
Thanks for any help.
