Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My hp omen laptop came with windows pre-installed in it. i wanted to ask that if i want to clean wipe the hard disk and re-install windows 10 home single language os without using the recovery flash drive created by hp's recovery software, will my windows product key be retrieved when i install the os? and if yes then from where should i download the latest windows 10 home single language os?

Hi:

 

Yes, the product key is in the BIOS, so if you want to clean install W10 from scratch, you can make the installation media at the link below...

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

The W10 installation file will have all versions of W10, so there is no separate windows 10 home single language download.

 

When you go to install windows, you will be shown a screen with all of the versions to choose from and that is where you would choose windows 10 home single language.
