@D3admou5, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop.  In Chapter 5,  Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts, Page 45, it lists the type of SSD's that can be used.  As you will see, it is in the section for Authorized Service Providers.  Therefore, there are not many specifications for the drives.

It will take either one. Sata or NVMe m.2 SSD.

Note that because it will take either one, NVMe wont run at full 3x4 speeds because some of the PCIe lanes are used for Sata.

I would save my money and install a Sata M.2 drive. You wont notice a visable difference in regular usage.
