Hi @Yash2303,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be glad to help you.

I understand that on your OMEN by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wf0000 (755G4AV), the mouse pointer suddenly appears and starts moving or clicking on its own without any input. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when it interrupts your work or gaming.

This issue can be related to the touchpad, external mouse, or the pointing device drivers. Please try the following steps:

1. Check the external mouse

  • Disconnect any wired or wireless mouse and test using only the built-in touchpad.
  • If the issue stops, reconnect the mouse and check for battery, connection, or driver-related issues.

2. Check touchpad settings

  • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Go to Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
  • Check the touchpad settings and test if adjusting the sensitivity helps.

3. Update the touchpad driver

  • Right-click the Start button and open Device Manager.
  • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
  • Right-click the touchpad device and select Update driver.
  • Restart the laptop after the update.

If the issue continues:

  • In Device Manager, right-click the touchpad device.
  • Select Uninstall device.
  • Restart the laptop so Windows can reinstall the driver.

4. Update HP drivers

  • Use HP Support Assistant or the HP Support website for your model to install the latest:
    • BIOS update
    • Chipset drivers
    • Touchpad/input device drivers

You can also refer to HP's troubleshooting steps here: HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshoot the touchpad | HP® Support

To help check this further, please let us know:

  • Does this happen with only the touchpad, or are you using an external mouse?
  • Does the issue occur after startup or after using the laptop for some time?
  • Did this start after a Windows update or driver update?
  • Does the issue continue when all USB devices are disconnected?

Once we have these details, we can help determine whether this is a driver issue or if further hardware troubleshooting is needed.
