when im playing viedo games and i hold my left mouse button to shoot, after about 5 seconds off holding it down it will just carry on shooting when i dont want it to. when i switch my shoot button to something else this stops happening so its just my left mouse button

What mouse?

Is it any game or one specifically?

When did the issues start, after an update?
