HP Omen 15-5000NA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I just bought my new HP Omen and it was setup today. I bought it through the HP Renew programme and its supposed to include 1 years warranty. I've just had the HP support assistant notification actually tell me my warranty runs out on the 20th february next year (see pic - part of the serial I've masked out).

Obviously that's not 12 months warranty.

Any ideas on the support email address to contact in order to get this resolved?

Hi there,

Just wanted to update you on this. My issue is now resolved. I contacted HP support and after sending them some details of the transaction they've updated the warranty to match the purchase date (rather than the date of manufacture).

The whole process took about 15 minutes and was very easy.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi:

If you live in the USA/Canada, call HP at this number and explain the situation.

1-800-474-6836

They will send you an e-mail address or website link to scan and attach a copy of your proof of purchase/invoice showing the purchase date, and they should have it corrected in a few business days.

I had to do the same thing for my HP 350 G1 that I bought in Feb of this year but the warranty originally expired in Dec 2015.
