Solved: windows 10 - HP Support Community

I have registered for the new windows 10 upgrade but just found out that if I do download this I will not ever be able to do a factory reset if needed, any comments on this please would I need to do a factory reset at any time ?

You should still be able to do a factory reset. You have the options of doing it from a Windows 10 desktop or by using your recovery media.

Click on the magnifying glass icon and type in HP Recovery Manager and then click on the HP Recovery Manager desktop item. That should invoke the recovery manager.

I upgraded my current HP product loan Omen 15 and the recovery manager is still present. Do be aware that it will recover your notebook back to the original OS, not to Windows 10.
