I dont know how to install the detection tool. Im trying to update drivers and it shows this message. My initial problem is when watching a live boxing fight on my Laptop, sometimes the screen, uuummm, scrambles or lags for about 5 seconds. So I when to HP Support and found various possible solutions. Update Graphics, Update detection tool, and something about AMD.

So when I tried to run check my computer type, a pop up says it doesnt recgonize it. And the above pop ups talk about the three things. So Im so lost on what to do. Oh, the fight is perfect on my iphone and desktop. So its got to be something with this laptop. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Hi,

First of all, AMD is the manufacturer of your laptop graphics card. Your laptop is too old for installing the graphics drivers.

And because it is too old the Hp detection tool doesn't work. The lag of the screen is caused by the Windows graphic drivers your PC is using, which are not meant for intensive tasks but just for basic displaying. These driver are not the best for your graphics card but can't be upgraded.

Best regards
