Uploading pictures from nikon d5100 to chromebook 14

I have the chromebook 14 with the micro SD card so i am not able to put my nikon d5100 memory card into the laptop. i got a usb cord to hook the camera up to the laptop but when i go to file it isnt showing up. any other options or suggestions?

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? 

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

Follow this link and perform a power wash, which is nothing but taking it back to the factory settings. 🙂

Before trying this please remove the SD card, or any other external storage devices connected to it. 😉
