A few days ago I got the error "The indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer. If error persists, replace ink cartridge." That's all well and good except I am enrolled in Instant Ink and they won't send a new cartridge until this one is empty. But how can I empty this one if it won't print. I've spent hours trying different things. And btw, your virtual agent is pretty useless. I did everything that I was told to do. Turn it off and back on, take the cartridge out, put them back in, unplug the printer, plug it back in, etc.  I finally saw on another post where someone took the cartridge out and is just printing with one cartridge in. That is working for now.

I am the secretary/treasurer of our water district and need this printer to work for my everyday duties. I am now 2 days behind in getting out my monthly statements. The nearest store to buy another cartridge is 45 miles away and I don't have the time to drive there to buy one. That is why I signed up for instant ink.  Will I only be able to print in black and white now or will instant ink notice that I do not have the color cartridge inserted and notice there is a problem?

I attempted the online help, the website wouldn't even load. Come on guys, you have got to better than this.
