HP2710 printer.  I cannot print.  I have a blinking envelope/ink-drop symbol on the display.  Any ideas?

Probably not relevant, but just in case it is...

My last payment on my InstantInk subscription had failed as my payment card has been reissued and now has a new number.  I've corrected the payment information and had confirmation that the information has been updated.  So the payment method shouldn't be the problem, unless it takes a certain time to update fully(?).  Since then, I've switched off the printer, waited a while and restarted it.  It still won't print.

Any suggestions gratefully received,

The envelope symbol is the Instant Ink indicator.  I suggest you contact the HP Instant Ink support folks, they may need to reset something to restore the service for you.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.
