I'm here in search of the true cancellation procedure for my Instant Ink subscription. I have spent 90 minutes I will never get back trying to do so via the online page, the Virtual "Assistant", and, finally, a human. The online cancellation always throws me back to the page offering to sign me up for Instant Ink, and promising that "you can cancel Instant Ink any time". The Virtual "Assistant" may be the worst excuse for a bot I have seen, and was less than useless. The human I was finally able to reach did try, but the call dropped, she didn't call back as she had promised. When I tried to call in again, I found myself in a tight voice mail jail which shunted me to a hardware support menu from which I could not escape.
I switched from Epson printers because I didn't like the way they treated their customers. I now regret switching to HP. If I have to use Instant Ink in future, HP printers will not be in my future.

Hi @Printers-R-Evil,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To cancel your HP Instant Ink subscription, you can follow these steps.
- Go to the HP Instant Ink website and log in to your account.
- Click on the "Account" tab at the top of the page.
- Scroll down to the "Cancel Enrollment" section and click on "Cancel Enrollment."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation process.
If you have any remaining HP Instant Ink cartridges, you can use them until they run out. Once they are depleted, you will need to replace them with regular ink cartridges or sign up for a new Instant Ink plan if you wish to continue using the service.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
