ENVY 5055
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just received my printer and did the setup of the printer. The display now reads "Joined "xx" network" (which is checked), "Web services enabled" (checked), and "Waiting for ink choice..." (starbursted). When I click on the ?, it says I have to complete the HP instant ink set up online and that the printer will receive confirmation when I do. When I go to enroll and set up instant ink, I have to click the ePrint icon to print a page with a code. That icon cannot be seen on the display because of the message I referred to above, and it seems that the only way I would be able to get that off the screen is to choose "No HP instant ink," which is not accurate. What do I need to do to get the page printed and the code to finish my Instant Ink set up? Thank you.

Hi @Dmalin531

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the claim code.

Please try these steps -

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

For the claim code, we need to enable the web-services, try these steps -

1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Web Services .

3. Touch Yes to accept the Web Services terms of setup.

4. The printer will automatically check updates and set up Web Services.

5. Touch OK when you see Web Services have been set up successfully.

6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page, and shows Web Services Summary on the screen.
