Product: HP ENVY Photo 6234 All-in-One Printer

HI I am looking to upgrade my printer - So will take my old one off my account - I intend to give the old printer to my parents - However, they will only print once in a while - so was going to purchase ink cartridges for them and take this printer off of my account.  Will the printer still work ok once I connect it to their wifi? Will they be able to still print from their phones/laptop etc ok?
