I recently raised a call for a faulty black instant ink cartridge. A replacement was sent. I installed this last week, followed the alignment procedure and all was working fine.
I now have an incompatible cartridge message. I have reset the printer several times and removed and replaced the cartridge checking for dust and obvious visible faults. Still getting the message.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
