@9992, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the print quality is not satisfactory. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Check the ink levels on the printer. Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that prints fine. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Clean the ink cartridges

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

    The Setup menu displays.

  2. Swipe the display up, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Clean Cartridges.

  4. f the print quality is unacceptable, touch Proceed when prompted to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage, if necessary.

NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

    The Setup menu displays.

  2. Touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

  3. Check the result.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
