Envy 4250

I enrolled in Instant Ink but my printer didn't work on wireless mode. After about 1.5 hours on the phone with support and them unable to fix it, I unenrolled. However, since then, my printer still prompts me with EVERY print that I need to connect wirelessly, which I don't. I have been able to bypass that by pressing OK. However, now it's saying Connect printer to wireless to update status with Instant Ink, and it WILL NOT print. It cancels every print I try to make. I called support today and after 52 minutes on hold, was disconnected. GRRRR!

Does anyone know how I can truly disconnect my printer from Instant Ink. I am not connected wirelessly anymore, so don't understand how it's tracking, but it is.

@mscmcd, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Apologies for the inconvenience. If you are using Instant Ink cartridges after unenrolling the printer, you may get these pop-up notifications. Make sure you have installed the regular ink cartridges

If the error persists, try restarting the web services. Turn it off and then turn it On again.

Refer to this document to know how.

Let me know how this goes.
