I don't want to sign up for instant ink. My printer won't print any more because it says I have to sign up for instant ink. I just want to buy the cartridges locally. How do I get to this point? Can I just replace the cartridges with those I have bought locally and the printer will work like its supposed too?

Hi @Illini1983

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Are you using HP Instant Ink cartridges in the printer?

Is the printer already enrolled in Instant Ink? If so, you may cancel the enrollment to use the regular ink cartridges from a store.

Refer to this document to know how to cancel the enrollment. Once the service is canceled, you cannot use the HP Instant Ink cartridges in the printer to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
