Where do I find the prepaid key or is the balance automatically added?

To assist you better, what balance are you referring to?

The prepaid key/card is given to you by the store when you purchase the printer.

If you are looking for free Instant Ink months, if the offer is mentioned on the printer box, it will get credited automatically.

Once enrolled within 7 days of installation, the free months will automatically be credited to your Instant Ink account. For assistance with enrollment, refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink

Make sure the printer is enrolled/registered in Instant Ink.
