HP Spectre x360 Pen (brand new) stopped working

Spectre x360 2 in 1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I just bought (Dec 26) a new HP Spectre x360 2 in 1 (diamond edge). I barely used the pen (may be a max total of 1 hr). It abruptly stopped wotking. I tried everything posted on this board. Nothing worked. 

What do I do?
