Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I got this new HP 22er monitor just now and connected  it with my laptop via HDMI cable. No sound comes out from the monitor even though I have set it as a default playback device and the "green bar" for testing did move.

 

Anyone have any idea please? I have installed the driver onto my computer already.

As I understand there's no audio output on your monitor,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

Did you check if this monitor has a speaker output?

 

I went through the product specifications (Click here to view) and I'm afraid the speaker isn't a part of the monitor design.

And I hope that answers your query.
