Welcome to HP Community

I suggest you uninstall the HPSA, restart your computer and download HPSA from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

Keep me posted how it goes 😊

I suggest you uninstall HPSA once again and restart the Notebook. Then run the Windows SFC Scan

  • In the search box on the taskbar, enter Command Prompt. Press and hold (or right-click) Command Prompt (Desktop app) from the search results and select Run as administrator.
  • Enter DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (note the space before each "/"). (Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to run and complete.)
  • Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").

Then download the HPSA once again and try to update

Let me know how it goes
