Hi There

 

I am trying to upgrade HPDM 4.7 SP7 to SP8. The issue I have is after downloading the .zip from ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/hpdm/Software/4.7/ it wont extract correctly. If I use the extracty all function in windows I receive the following error:

 

"Cannot complete the compressed (zipped) folders extaction wizard

Before you can extract files you must copy files to the compressed (zipped) folder"

 

When I use 7zip to extract the files the .exe is half the size it should be. It wont run on the HPDM server (Windows Server 2012 R2) Error message is

 

"Error reading setup initalization file"

 

Please can anyone help?

Hi

 

7 zip reports a Data error in HP_Device_Manager-4.7SP8.exe

 

so maybe there is.
