In order to use AVC, you need to do an activation through our activation server. Only the receiver needs internet access. To start the activation, in the Receiver GUI settings, under the Performance Tab, check the box for AVC. Then make a connection. The receiver will gather the information about the sender (UUID, Make & Model, OS and version of Remote Boost or RGS) and then send that along with its own info to the activation server. If you do not reach the activation server, you will get an error that AVC could not be activated. AVC is a one time paired activation between a sender and a receiver. If the receiver connects to a new sender, and AVC has not been activated, it will repeat the process with the new sender.
You can verify that you can reach the activation server by using this link in a browser.

You should see the word FAILURE as a reply because you didn’t give it data, but it received the request.
If you do not have internet access, we have a manual process where I send you tools that are OS dependent and you run the tool on each sender and receiver that needs to use AVC. You send that output back to me, and I do the activation, then send you a file back that you install on each sender and receiver you ran the tool on. I keep all manual activations so I can easily add more systems as needed and send you an updated file. You would only need to keep the most current file.
If you need the manual process, please send me the request at ZCentral@hp.com
