Product: ZCentral Remote Boost
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

We rolled out version 20.2.1 of ZCentral Remote Boost  to our Macs and we have received several calls from users with Wacom tablets that they can't click on anything with their stylus. We are able to duplicate the issue. This is not an issue with version 20.1.1 of ZCentral Remote Boost so we have rolled users back to this version until this issue can be fixed.  Just a FYI.

 

Our Macs are running on Big Sur, 11.5.

Are you seeing this with just your Mac receivers?  What is your sender configuration?  Any particular applications that you are using when having this issue?  Steps to reproduce your problem?   What Wacom tablets are you using?

We only use the Mac receiver product. We are still using Sender version 7.6.0.18584-1.el7 on our Linux boxes.

 

We have not upgraded to the Remote Boost Sender product as of yet.

 

Even without having Remote Boost Sender, the Remote Boost Receiver client on Mac does provide some added functionality like dual monitor support which could never get to work with the version 7.7.2 of RGS Receiver.

 

The macs are MacBook Pros running 11.5 of MacOS Big Sur and either using an Intuos 5 tablet or a Cintiq 22HD tablet/display.

 

With version 20.1.1 of the Remote Boost Receiver, we don't see the Wacom clicking issue so we have rolled our users back to back version and they are working fine with their Wacom tablets.

Can you tell me what the users are doing on the Wacom tablets when they see the clicking issue?  What application are they using?  What RHEL 7 version do you have on your Linux systems?  I would like to see if this can be reproduced so I can submit a defect.

Hello, sorry, I left out that part. They are running Maya  and the version of Linux we are running is EL79.

Thank you.  Version of Maya?  Also, just because we are not quite as familiar with a lot of the apps, steps on what is being done in Maya to reproduce the issue?

Had to double check with our users. They are saying they can't click on anything on their linux box once they connect.   The can click on menus and items on their Mac but, nothing in the RGS window.
