Cannot connect with HP Velocity turned on

HP Recommended
HP Z workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We do not use VPN to connect to our office network. For specific reasons we use port-forwarding on our router. When I try to connect to my workstation from my home computer I can only connect if HP Velocity is turned off. I would like to use Velocity as it improves the experience. What do I have to setup in order to use the Velocity option?

Many thanks for any suggestions!

EDIT: Just found the solution, we needed to allow UPD for port 42966
