Hi Community. Does any of you have experinces running HP RGS on Windows Server?
From the HP RGS home page i can read that Windows Server is not a supported OS. However, i have tested it, and it seems to work, so i'm wondering what the limitations are, other than the fact that it's a none supported setup?
Unfortenately the generation 10 of the DL 380 server does not support windows 7/10, so my question is: will a virtual windows 7/10 maschine hosted by Windows server work with HP RGS, despite not beeing a supported setup?
Are there any plans to spport HP RGS on Windows Server in teh near future?
Thanks!

Currently there are no plans to support Windows Server, however, we do have customers that use it and have not experienced any issues. We do have customers that are using VMs. If you do have any difficulties with RGS, we can attempt to help you on the forum but ultimately you may need to raise a case via support.

The RGS software will only be aware of the virtual machine OS. In your case, windows 10. The issue you might run into is with the emulated graphics drivers. I'm also curious to know how RGS Sender licensing works on virtual machines.
