Hello,

We're experiencing a connection issue when trying to connect to workstations (running sender 20.1.2.8161) with the Advanced Video Compression setting.

When trying to connect with AVC with various desktop workstations that have various graphics cards (mostly Nvidia RTX's) and receiver (version 20.1.2.8161), it hangs on a screen saying "Establishing connection...". If left up, it never resolves/connects.

When connecting the same way on laptop computers, AVC connects and preforms perfectly (low bandwidth and high fps). We've tried this on 4 different laptops that have different graphics hardware (RTX's - intel graphics) and it works great on all of them.

Both laptops and desktops are running the same receiver version (20.1.2.8161).

My question is why is AVC successfully connecting on laptops and not on desktops and how can we get the desktops to successfully connect using AVC?

It seems like it would be something to do with the receiver app/settings, as that's what is establishing the connection.

Many thanks in advance for help resolving this issue.

-J

We've sorted this issue.

Upgrading to Version: 20.3.0.8831 of the receiver fixed it.

Thanks

Sorry I was not on the forum for a while.  Glad 20.3.0 fixed your issue.  There were some fixes with AVC in that version.
