We are trying Zcentral with Remote Boost over WAN and velocity is enabled. I am frequently checking the network loss rates with and without velocity. Until now I haven't seen any difference on the numbers. Is it really working? In the past when we were using HP ThinPro with Device Manager there were detailed information about velocity which was showing % of recovered packages. RGS/ Remote boost doesn't show anything.
And, I found this article which says velocity is not supported anymore.

So, here are the questions:
1. Is velocity still live? If yes, how to understand this article?
2. Is there any detailed information so that we can prove that Velocity is really working.

Hi Navyred,
HP Velocity is integrated into Remote Boost. The support article referenced pertains to the standalone version of HP Velocity that used to be included standalone on some HP notebooks. HP Velocity is still supported as integrated with Remote Boost. See the "Statistics" setting on the Remote Boost Receiver for information about "network loss" and HP Velocity.

Hi Becky,
Thanks for your reply.
Statistics is only showing real-time data. How can we see a historical data for Velocity?
We want to see the performance of velocity on different network conditions i.e 4g, adsl , fiber .

According to RGS documentation,
HP Velocity status is displayed on the HP ZCentral Remote Boost Receiver toolbar:
● Blue: HP Velocity is monitoring network loss and is ready to be used.
● Green: HP Velocity is actively working to improve network conditions.
● Grey: HP Velocity has not been activated.
What I see that Velocity is always Blue, it's not Green.
