zcentral
Linux

Hi,

I'm using Linux (different flavors, it doesnt matter here), with XFCE.
I'm connecting to my office's workstation, a Centos Linux machine on XFCE as well, using Zcentral.
In the Linux world, a user can press  ALT+Drag to move a window and resize it.
This behaviour works well with Zcentral.

But in my industry (computer graphics) ALT+drag is used by a lot of programs to do different things.
So, in this industry, we're used to change the settings (XFCE, Gnome, KDE etc...) to replace the ALT key for the Super key (or Hyper or Mod4 or Meta key... the key on the keyboard that often has a Windows logo on it).
And this doesn't work with Zcentral when using any of my Linux distribution at home (it works locally but not on the remote machine).

Surprisingly, it works if I use a Windows machine to connect to my Centos Linux remote machine... but I don't want to  use Windows.
Also, before using Zcentral, I was using RGSreceiver, and this was working perfectly, I was able to use the Super key to move or resize applications on the remote Centos machine, as well as my local machine.

Can you help me with this please ?
Thank you

Hello,

Need a little more information.  Can you tell me what version of Remote Boost you are using on your sender and receiver?

Linux on both sender and receiver?  I am going to have private messaging (PM) enabled for you as I would like to collect more information that is not needed to be shown on the forum.  Will reach back out as soon as I see that PM has been enabled.
