Just wanted to let users know that RGS 7.6.0.18584 has released end of December!  I have attached the release notes as well as the new User Guide.

Where is it? Just went to the download page and the Download drop down list seem to still point to 7.5

I just went to the HP RGS website and it is there.

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/workstations/remote-graphics-software.html

If you scroll to the bottom, click on Download Sender and Receiver.  RGS 7.6 is there.

However, if you click on Download Receiver Only, RGS 7.5.1 is there, which is not correct, so I will get that fixed.

Correction.... the Version info for the Windows receiver says 7.5.1 but the actual package that downloads is RGS 7.6.  Hoping to get the fixed.

I hear 7.6.0 has a serious regression regarding key mapping  😞

Actually RGS 7.6 only had one issue, which was found after release, and that has been fixed with the AltGr key.  I can provide that receiver if that is your issue.  I would recommend trying RGS 7.6 sender and receiver. I would really like to know what is being reported so we can take a look at it.  We did a lot of testing on RGS 7.6 with language keyboard layout as it was revamped in RGS 7.6.  You should be able to easily switch between any language and be able to type.

I have lost use of "Delete" key on remote after upgrading to 7.6

Any fix for that?

I don't have 7.6, just yet; but, in-house IT will be upgrading our OS to 7.6, tomorrow...I am not certain if they will update RGS along with it.

 

In any case, are you sure the missing "Delete" key is due to new RGS?  To make sure nothing else has changed, I wonder if you could simply ssh and see if "Delete" is also missing there.
