Hey everyone,
This is a duplicate from: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-ZCentral-Remote-Boost-and-Connect/RGS-Unstable-and-connection-issue...
After 1 minute to 1 hour, the RGS turns red and displays "error connection". There are no network problems and all traffic is passed through the firewall. The only error information that's usuable are the ones in the RGS log:
11-10-20 14:46:31 10116(8208) ERROR - WinToWinReceiverSecurityContext::authenticate Security context failureInitializeSecurityContext failed - 1312
11-10-20 14:46:31 10116(8208) ERROR - WinToWinReceiverSecurityContext::authenticateWindowsCredentials Security context failureInitializeSecurityContext failed - 1312
11-10-20 14:46:38 10116(7864) INFO - ReceiverImpl::isConnectionCompleteSupported: queried by sender.
11-10-20 14:46:39 10116(15660) INFO - FeatureRegistration::isFeatureRegistered: already registered.
11-10-20 14:46:41 10116(15660) INFO - HprKeybdMouse::KeybdMouseReceiverSessionIce::setKeyboardMapMode - Keyboard mode set to Map Direct
11-10-20 14:46:41 10116(15660) INFO - ClipboardDeviceSessionIce::enable - clipboard enabled
11-10-20 14:51:16 10116(15392) ERROR - ReceiverSession::ConnectionStatusThread::run - CONNECTION_STATUS_ERROR
Is there a reason why RGS suddenly disconnects? The sender has plenty memory and cpu.
Thanks in advance

What version of RGS are you using on Sender and Receiver? When this happens, is the system being actively used or has it been sitting idle? You mention this happens anywhere from 1 minute to 1 hour. Have you tried adjusting your network time out settings on both sender and receiver? Make sure your settings are the same on both if you modify them. The sender settings can be modified through the SenderConfigApp.exe on Windows or senderconfigapp.sh on Linux. The receiver settings can be modified via the Receiver GUI. Will reach out to you on private message to gather more details, logs.
