Hello into the community,

I´m using the Sender/receiver app for a couple of months on varying computers.  Riht now I´m having problems with the audio not playing back on the receiver side. The sender shows audio coming through the HP sender but on my receiver computer I hear no audio and don´t see the receiver app in the windows audio mixer. Tried re-installation and installed it on another Win10 receiver computer.

OS is WIN10 1909.

RGS is running on 20.0.0.

As this has been working for months (even under windows 7) I´m  a bit at a loss. Should the app show in the audio mixer setup?

Thanks in advance for your help.

best

Andreas

Are you trying to send audio through the receiver speakers or some other device?  Audio is working fine locally on the receiver, without Remote Boost connection?  Can you provide me with more details on your sender setup (hardware make and model, OS, graphic card.  Were any updates done on the sender when this stopped working? I think the only time you would see the audio device for Remote Boost or RGS 7 would be if the HP Remote Audio got installed.  This is only installed when an audio device is not seen.

Dear support,

thanks for answering. We are accessing an HP Z4 WS with a P4000 GPU. WIN10 1909 as OS. The connection to this sender happens from different receiver systems. E.G. HP EliteBooks.

It seems that the problem originated from a awry gone Windows session.

We reinstalled the sender and now it is working again. Strange.

We´ll keep an eye on it.

This case can be closed.
